Scrolls

1. The Book of Secrets (1Q27, 4Q299-301) Explanation of Mysteries

In a surprising turn of events Qumran offers proof, that "it” (i.e. meaning the 1QM War scroll) is true. This proof is based on the understanding of Jacob’s ladder vision, which the Book of Secrets argues, is the only way (for Israel) to save themselves. When the meaning of this document is interpreted, illumination to become wise is also given. In such a way that the wise will understand as a universal declaration of the Heavenly Temple that Jacob viewed.

2. The Vision of Jacob (4Q537) Temple Vision discussed

The Vision of Jacob is part of the very core of Judaism and yet remains a mystery. When the vision is solved the Qumran code will be broken. This scroll lets us know more about Jacob’s Vision. Jacob saw a celestial Temple with star men referred to as angels offering Yom Kipper sacrifices. He would have built a Temple there but the Angel told him he would go on to another place.

3. Thanksgivings (4QHodayot-like) Face beholds Vision and speaks

The Microprosophus is a creature of clay (3) that represents Jacob the humble servant (1) and will speak as a necromancer out of the ground (Isaiah 29) about “star in their courses and luminaries in their mysteries” which will to lead the people (of Israel) in the God’s way.

  1. Col. 4-9 The humble servant; refers to Jacob
  2. Col. 10-20:23 The voice to lead the people in God's way; refers to the words of Jacob here and other places revealed by King David.
  3. Col. 20:24 A creature of clay, refers to the Microprosphus or face of the waters; also known as the face of Jacob (Isa.29)
4. Royal Psalms (4Q380, 4Q381) This scroll addresses end time Israel and a indicates the importance of “the seven spirits” that are to be seen in King David’s Scroll

This scroll addressing end time Israel discusses King David’s writings at Qumran and indicates the importance of seven spirits. “You have many judges, and witnesses without number, except...He will send his seven spirits to give you reliable decisions. Is there understanding? Then learn…” One of the scrolls mentioned, identifies the seven spirits as seven Princes (star men) offering the choicest of offerings (Yom Kipper) in the celestial Temple.

5. Redemption and Resurrection (4Q521) Believed to identify Jesus as Teacher

The Scroll starts out, “the heavens and the earth will listen to His Messiah” Reminding us of words about Jesus, “What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him” (Matt 8:27 KJV.) John the Baptist questioned, to see if Jesus was the Holy One, “Art thou he that should come?” Jesus answered, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the glad tiding preached to them” (Luke 7:22-23 and Matthew 11:4-5). These and other ideas written in the New Testament are repeated in this scroll as speaking about the Messiah. Christians feel that Jesus must be the Messiah of Qumran and therefore their Teacher of Righteousness.

6. The Copper Scroll (3Q15) The body of the Zadok and the hiding place

In 1952 the only Scroll made from Copper was found. It list the inventory Holy Treasures from Israel's first Temple (Solomon's Temple) that were been hidden away before the Babylonians (circa 422 BCE), conquered Jerusalem. Did Vendyl Jones find this cave? Some of the things Vendyl Jones did not explain publicly are here delineated.

7. The Coming of Melchizedek (11Q13) Teacher Messiah, like Jesus, linked with Daniel’s calendars

Qumran Teacher and Messiah, like Jesus, is linked with Daniel’s calendars and Isaiah 61 as follows: The messenger is the Anointed of the spirit, of whom Daniel spoke; "After the sixty-two weeks, an Anointed shall be cut off" (Dan. 9; 26). The "messenger who brings good news, who announces Salvation" is the one of whom it is written; "to proclaim the year of the LORD`s favor, the day of the vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn" (Isa. 61;2)

8. Commentaries on Isaiah (4Ql6l-l65) Identifies Zadokites as giving voice to face of Jacob through the Dead Sea Scrolls

Isaiah 29 speaks of a coming war when “your teachers shall no longer be hidden from you”. This scroll identifies the Zadokites to be the teachers, using the Dead Sea Scrolls which they hid in the earth and sealed until the time of the end.

9. The Last Days: A Commentary on Selected Verses (4Ql74) Prophecies timed and stated

Using the Book of Psalms as a base; other scriptures are added and compared. In regards to timing; scriptures speaking of the same events are collected and said to occur at the same future time.

10. A Commentary on Psalms (4Q 171,4Q 173, lQl6) Psalms 37 informs that the meek and poor are the returning tribes that join the Yahad.

Quotes are from Psalms that Jesus also quoted. The ‘meek and poor’, are terms interpreted as referring to the returning tribes of Israel who will return to Israel to do God’s will and inherit the earth. These are called; “The sons of Zadok and the men of their party who will pursue righteousness and come to join the Yahad”.

  1. The other day as I read through Daniel I noticed that a vision was sealed until the end. I prayed to God asking to understand, knowing it is the end of time, I wondered to God about this sealed vision. The next night, on coast to coast, Karen addresses my prayers. Praise God and thank you Karen. I wish to listen to more of your knowledge and experiences.
